I am the author of The Seven Sisters, a speculative fiction series about seven time-traveling beings who return to Earth as rememberers and guides. Moving across past, present, and future, they carry ancestral knowledge, lost histories, and visions of what is yet to come. Their purpose is simple and immense: to help us remember who we truly are.
I met the Seven as a child in the pages of the National Geographic magazine. They have been speaking to many, but only a few of us have listened. We are all living in trying times; our attention is critical. The Sisters and I are speaking to you with urgency. We wish to see you grow, prepare yourself for a new Space. Everything you encounter here unfolds through the Sisters’ sight—what they have witnessed, what they will witness, and what they have instructed me to bring into form. I serve as a vessel for their transmissions, translating their messages through drawing, collage, performance, and speculative world-making. Each work operates as a portal, where time bends, and memory speaks. Rooted in Sankofa, Black diasporic cosmologies and future imaginaries, my practice conjures spaces of healing, agency, and becoming. These works invite you to step beyond linear time and into a living myth—one where the past is reclaimed, the future is imagined, and transformation is already underway. |
